Allah Almighty said:
“Do not think those who rejoice in what they have done, and love to be praised for what they did not do—do not think they will escape the punishment; for them is a painful torment.”
There are those who are pleased to be credited for what they did not do, and delight in the praise of others for efforts they never made— as if glory can be bought with words. But Allah sees them, and knows that what they built is nothing but a mirage He warns them of the illusion of salvation and tells them that behind this deception is painful punishment— for they did not only deceive others, but also deceived themselves.
The solution?
Be honest with yourself and with others. Do not take credit for what you did not create, and do not build your reputation on the shoulders of others. Let your work speak for you, for true greatness comes from honesty, integrity, and hard work —not from stealing the efforts of others.
Be authentic, for true light does not come from stealing others’ glow— it comes from lighting your own flame.
